Don’t tell me your hellebores are blooming already! They always provide colour in the garden when very little else is blooming. We all need to plant more of them in 2012!
Hi, Garden Muses…..this picture is actually from early last year. I haven’t gone tromping through the garden to see what the hellebores are doing yet. I’d have to walk through snow to see that. Eeeek!
I have somehow lost my ability on wordpress to see subscriptions, therefore, I have to click on the names of my commentors to find everyones posts! WordPress – Grrrrrr!
Nevermind – I hovered over the pic, and could read that these are P1020459′s. How beautiful. I wish I had a whole garden-full of P1020459′s. Where can I buy them? I am going to find a catalog, and I’ll order all of the P1020459′s they have!!!
Hey, BTW – any snow there yet? Elephants Child just submitted one (she made while at school) – we’re all waiting for yours, too
Yes, we just got a bit of snow. Unfortunately, I’ve had to work a little extra the past week or so, and have to work more this week too, so I’m a bit behind on my blogging and housework and blah, blah, blah. Anyhoooo, I’ve got an idea hatching, I just hope I have time to implement it before the snow goes, or your contest ends, whichever comes first. Love the entries you have so far……
They’re hellebores. They are one of the first things out in the garden, and they last a long time. I love them. This pic was actually taken last January, but I have to go out with the camera and see what’s up right now!
I think the conterst will go right on through March – other than a dusting of the ground one morning, we’ve had no snow here yet either. Another 6-8 weeks to go, I suppose. I have to post prizes and a dead line soon…I’ve been so distracted. Enjoy your excessive work. May it build your character, or whatever it’s supposed to do. (build your bank account:D)

Love the delicate colours and the muted greens. Very wintery and subtle.
