That little lobelia has company! Are those seedlings also lobelia? ‘Twill be lovely. Last year I had bacopa self-sow in the patio paving down below my sundeck planters. Such surprises are wonderful! marvelous!
It does have company! I spent a lot of time weeding between the cracks this summer, then tried the old boiling water trick, which seems to have killed off most of the bad stuff. Now I have this lush greenie mossy stuff filling in the cracks. I’m not sure it’s moss, but I really like how it looks. Hope it lasts through the winter! Last summer I had some tomatoes seed themselves in the cracks. We’ll see what comes up this year. The bocapa must have been pretty.
The contrast of the blue flower against the dry, gravely grey cement is a nice textural statement, as well. I always enjoy your Wordless Wednesdays, Garden Mad!
Thanks, Spectra. I really have fun picking out a photo every Wednesday. Maybe for the new year, I’ll try and do a written post a month. I’m still trying to figure out how to impress you in your snowman contest, so I’m a busy gal!
Lynne, I came over to tell you I left a reply to your comment but then I get her and discover you changed your Theme. Well I think you have. I can’t see any of your beautiful photos! Maybe it is just my computer farting around. I sure hope so. I would not like it if I were not able to see the world through your eyes.
Hi Birdie! Got your note, but I haven’t changed my theme. I did change my background and header after Hallowe’en, but no changes since then. I hope it starts working for you soon!
